Bisphenol A (BPA) At room temperature, it appears as white flaky crystals or powder with a faint phenol odor, insoluble in water. Its chemical structure is characterized by two phenol groups linked by a propane bridge, with good polymerization activity, heat resistance, and impact resistance. Chemically stable, it mainly reacts rapidly with hydroxyl radicals during atmospheric degradation. One of the most widely used industrial compounds globally. Mainly used in producing polycarbonate, epoxy resin, polysulfone resin, polyphenylene ether resin, unsaturated polyester resin, and other polymer materials. Also used in manufacturing plasticizers, flame retardants, antioxidants, heat stabilizers, rubber antioxidants, pesticides, coatings and other fine chemical products.
