After repeated tests, I CDU/VDU of ZRCC has recently achieved automatic switch of crude oil by using APC system, which effectively overcomes the adverse impact of frequent switch of crude oil and the variation of crude properties. The operational stability has been increased by 2.75% as against to the benchmark and the energy consumption decreased by 2.79%. This is the first time for Sinopec’s company to achieve auto-switch of crude oil in the CDU/VDU with flash tower.
