Gasoline & Diesel Upgrading in Hangzhou to Control Vehicle Emissions

After three consecutive drops of oil price, it was known from SINOPEC Zhejiang Oil Products Company, the major oil products supplier in Zhejiang province, that Hangzhou would be the first city in Zhejiang province to use China V gasoline and China IV diesel since September 15.
According to the introduction of the person in charge of Zhejiang Oil Products Company, Hangzhou would be the third provincial capital city in China to use China V gasoline following Nanjing and Guangzhou after the oil products upgrading, thus Zhejiang would be one of the earliest provinces to use China V gasoline.
Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co. is the largest crude oil processing company in China. According to the introduction of Mr. Wang Aidong, director of business operation and planning department of ZRCC, ZRCC had invested RMB 1.648 billion to upgrade its oil products. On August 1, the gasoline produced by ZRCC met China V standard and diesel met China IV standard.
