ZRCC President Tastes Treated High-salt Ethylene Wastewater

some
investigation
experts
from
China
International
Engineering
Consulting
Corporation
(CIECC)
visited
the
high-salt
wastewater
reuse
unit
of
ZRCC,
which
is
located
at
the
wastewater
treatment
facilities
in
the
eastern
area
of
ethylene
plant
and
has
just
completed
the
turnaround
once
every
four
years.
After
answering
the
questions
proposed
by
the
experts,
Mr.
Zhang
Yuming,
president
of
ZRCC,
explained
to
them
that
the
treated
high-salt
wastewater
is
purer
than
the
domestic
drinking
water,
then
he
drank
a
cup
of
treated
water
and
invited
the
experts
to
taste
it
by
themselves.
Mr.
Zhang
Yuming
further
explained
that,
with
ultra-filtration
and
dual
RO(Reverse
Osmosis)
membrane
technology,
this
unit
can
convert
four
steams
of
raw
waters
with
complex
components
to
a
high
quality,
high
standard
demineralized
water
to
be
recycled
to
the
power
station
of
ethylene
plant
for
reuse,
which
will
ultimately
achieve
the
targets
of
safety,
environmental
protection
and
energy
conservation.
The
high-salt
wastewater
reuse
unit
is
a
key
environmental
protection
project
with
30
million
yuan
investment,
which
is
also
an
important
measure
of
ZRCC
for
building
an
odorless
factory.
Since
its
service,
1.5
million
m3
of
water
has
been
saved
each
year.
