(Q&T
Center)
has
a
jet
fuel
thermal
oxidation
stability
tester,
which
was
manufactured
by
an
US
company.
After
13
years
of
service,
this
machine
has
to
be
disposed
as
scrap
due
to
lack
of
spare
parts
and
repair
service
from
the
vender.
According
to
investigation,
a
new
apparatus
of
this
type
needs
at
least
1
million
USD,
and
the
long
lead
time
will
impact
the
normal
analysis
of
production.
The
Q&T
Center
contacted
a
company
based
in
Shanghai,
and
worked
together
to
use
purchased
components
of
main
board
to
gradually
replace
the
original
ones.
After
many
times
of
replacements
and
trials,
they
finally
solved
the
problem.
At
present,
the
repaired
apparatus
has
been
put
into
service
after
calibration.
