ZRCC Achieved Energy Saving Target of 12th Five-Year Plan ahead of Schedule
In 2013, all energy consumption values of ZRCC, namely the comprehensive energy consumption of refinery, comprehensive energy consumption of ethylene plant, total energy consumption, and comparable comprehensive energy consumption for unit output of product, are better than the local government controlled ones. The annual energy saving is 649,400 tons, which is 58% higher than the energy saving index. Therefore, ZRCC over-fulfilled the Enterprises' Energy-saving Task of 12th Five-Year Plan two years earlier than the plan.
In
2013,
ZRCC
took
positive
actions
to
apply
new
technologies,
accelerated
energy-saving
technology
revamps
and
structural
adjustments,
implemented
14
energy
saving
projects
with
total
investment
of
￥0.17
billion,
and
46,000
tons
of
standard
coal
is
saved
directly
each
year.
At
the
same
time,
ZRCC
strengthened
the
efforts
for
inspection
and
examination
to
monitor
the
oxygen
content
of
furnace,
flue
gas
temperature,
cooling
water
temperature
differential,
and
the
operating
of
reflux
ratio
energy
saving
facilities.
In
2013,
the
overall
energy
consumption
levels
of
refining
and
ethylene
production
are
far
below
provincial
limits
and
the
total
energy
consumption
is
less
than
150,000
tons
of
standard
coal
of
Ningbo’s
control
indicator.
