ZRCC’s way to environmental protection

With public concerns about environment on the rise, how does ZRCC find the way to balance environment and cost?　

ZRCC will invest 1.25 billion Yuan to implement 22 projects for emission reduction in 2013-2016. When these projects are completed, SO2 emission will be reduced by 7200 tons/y, NOx by 5100 tons/y, dust by 700 tons/y and VOC by 2000 tons/y.

These projects not only need huge investment but also won’t bring any significant economic benefit for ZRCC and increase 0.135 billion Yuan operation cost. However, ZRCC determines to implement these projects so as to protect environment.

Currently ZRCC has a bio-jet fuel pilot plant that uses food waste oil and palm oil to produce jet fuel, and its jet fuel product had been successfully used in airplanes. Fuels for various engines are the key products of ZRCC. Supplying clean products is the important task for ZRCC.　

ZRCC is also the first batch enterprise supplying #98 gasoline and urban LS diesel to the market. ZRCC has supplied 40,000 tons Euro V diesel to Hongkong this year and broke the monopoly of Exxonmobil in Hongkong market.
