ZRCC Motor Gasoline Upgrades to China IV Standard

Since September, 27, motor gasoline produced by ZRCC has being upgraded to China IV standard with the sulfur content less than 50ppm.

Sinopec is a key producer of motor fuels in China and commits itself to cleaning production process and providing clean fuels. As the largest refinery of Sinopec, ZRCC converts the social responsibility of accelerating the fuels upgrading to positive actions of green and low-carbon development.

In the past two years, ZRCC has invested nearly RMB 200 million to upgrade oil products, and its gasoline quality has reached China IV standard with the sulfur content decreased from 150ppm to 50ppm. At present, ZRCC’s gasoline product (nearly 1.8 million tons per year) is being totally put on Zhejiang market, which will significantly reduce the pollution caused by vehicle exhaust.

ZRCC fulfills its responsibility of Every Drop of Oil is Commitment and takes gasoline upgrading as its core task. After the upgrading, ZRCC revamped and improved the on-line blending and storage & transportation systems, and displaced the whole system according to China IV standard to ensure that on-spec gasoline product will be delivered to the market.
