ZRCC Owns the First Domestic Flue Gas Treatment Facility with Independent Intellectual Property Rights
It’s reported that the denitrification section of flue gas denitrification, dust removal and desulfurization project for ZRCC’s 1800KTA RFCC has been put into operation recently, which is the first successful application for flue gas treatment facility with independent intellectual property rights in China and also one of the important measures to propel the green & low carbon development strategy.
As introduced by Mr. Zhang Da, a senior engineer of ZRCC No.4 Refining Division, the successful operation of this project marked a revolutionary progress in environmental friendly refining process of China. On one hand, the energy consumption (i.e. fuel oil, gas) can be decreased and the heat efficiency of boiler can be increased to more than 81%; on the other hand, after dust removal, desulfurization and denitrification, the SO2 emission of flue gas can be reduced by 8 times, dust emission by 6 times and NOx content by 2 times.
It’s learned that this environmental friendly technology will be applied in 36 FCC units of Sinopec, thus to improve the energy efficiency, actively develop the low carbon economy and supply clean and high quality energy products and services to the society.
