Over the 37 years, from the first pile laid in May,1975 to today, ZRCC has continually standed at new heights leading petrochemical industry from a 2.5 million TPA refinery: In 2000, ZRCC crude-oil processing volume exceeded 10 million tons, becoming the first refinery in China which has over ten million tons of actual processing volume; In 2010, ZRCC crude-oil processing volume exceeded 20 million tons, leading Chinese refinery industry to a new height of individual refinery processing volume over twenty million TPA ; The 1millon TPA ethylene project was completed and put into operation in 2010, making ZRCC the largest refinery-chemical integration enterprise.

At the beginning of 2012, ZRCC put forward a proposal to all staffs: “We should keep the general goal in sight, while starting from trivial things and consciously cultivate good producing and living habit. Saving starts from me, from post and from minor matters. Save one kilowatt hour, a drop of oil or water, a lump of coal, a liter of steam, a piece of paper, and save every penny……”
