On the evening of May 23rd, the large entertainment evening party, Beyond the Dream, Create the Future, was held solemnly in ZRCC cinema to celebrate the 35^th anniversary of founding. The members of ZRCC’s lead team, some leaders of all previous sessions, employee representatives from each department, and some retirees all gathered together to recall the passionate years and make good wishes for ZRCC’s more prosperous future.

At 18:58, along with the passionate sounds of the music, the party officially started. Amid warm applause, Mr. Jiang Zhenghong, the general manager and secretary of CPC committee, delivered a speech. He said, with those appealing melodies hovering around us and the past glorious years flashed in our memories, we gathered here to celebrate the 35^th anniversary of founding and look forward to a bright future. On behalf of the company's lead team, I’d like to extend the warmest welcome to all the leaders and guests that attending the party. I also extend my sincere greetings to all ZRCC employees, retirees, elders, employees of restructured companies and their families.

Mr.Jiang said, time does not stay; god helps those who help themselves. Looking back at the 35 years of ZRCC development, we have undergone a glorious journey with abundant achievements. 35 years ago, starting from nothing in a cotton field on the tidal flat, we have made great progress against all kinds of difficulties and established the largest refining company of China, which made the dream of generations, ethylene project, come true. As the leader in China refining industry, we have provided 200 million tons of petrochemical products for society, paid 76 billion RMB taxes to the country, accumulated about 40 billion RMB assets. Persistently sticking to the working style of self-reliant and great effort, unremittingly pioneering to explore markets, unhesitatingly striving for determined reform and innovation, we have made record after record, many the first of China, which consists of a valuable treasure left for generations.

Mr. Jiang Zhenghong emphasized that the 35 years history of ZRCC is not only the proud of all ZRCC employees, but also a typical epitome of the achievements of China’s 30 years of reform and opening-up, a vivid example of scientific development promoted by Sinopec, a true description of the struggle of several generations of ZRCC employees. Looking back, we have all sorts of feelings and thankfulness. On behalf of the lead team, Mr. Jiang expressed heartfelt thanks and paid great respects to those who concern about, support and devote themselves to the development of ZRCC.

Mr. Jiang Zhenghong pointed that the strong pass is a wall of iron, with firm strides we are crossing its summit. 35 years old is full of vigor and passion that deserves to accomplish much. We must accelerate the implementation of the trinity strategic plan of project development, management reform, human resources, continuously promote the coordinated development of intension and extension of the company, the collaborative development of refining and chemical at the same time, the synchronous upgrade of "soft power" and "hard power", and make great efforts to built ZRCC into a landmark enterprise with world-class scale and refining & chemical integration.

Then, through the big LED screen, nine elder leaders of ZRCC expressed their good wishes for the company. For the development of ZRCC, generation after generation of builders has fought and worked hard at the expense of their precious youth. Witnessing the splendid achievements of ZRCC, they expressed a common wish, longevity to our company and prosperity of ZRCC.

At the party, Zhejiang Song and Dance Ensemble, ZheJiang Modern Drama Troupe, Hangzhou Acrobatic Troupe and some amateurs from ZRCC gave a wonderful performance. The party was magnificent and passionate, which lasted nearly 3 hours. The enthusiastic dancing and melodious sounds won thunderous applauses from the audience.
