On the morning of January 31, ZRCC held an EVA test learning-assistant theme lecture tutored by Dr. Zhao Shitang, deputy director of general bureau of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of State Council. More than 350 persons, including members of ZRCC’s leading team, all intermediate managers, secretaries of party branches, and leaders of Hangzhou Petrochemical Company and directors of associated department, attended the meeting.

EVA is the abbreviated name of economic added value and is a new general performance evaluation tool for evaluating enterprises’ abilities to effectively use capitals and create values for shareholders. Dr. Zhao Shitang systematacially explained the EVA definition, concept, inspiriting system, management system and procedure of implementing EVA test in enterprises owned by central government.

After the lecture, Mr. Jiang Zhenghong, general manager and secretary of party committee called for all levels of leaders should further learn, understand and implement EVA test, transform concepts, adjust thinking methods, optimize management and promote scientific development with EVA concept.
