On December 5^th afternoon, the last two large-size equipment (i.e., the first and the second dehydration scrubber condenser) of PO/SM plant, which is located in the east area of ethylene project site, are lifted in place through continuous operation of 280-tons crawler crane. By now, all the large-size equipment in ethylene project have been lifted in place.

It is known that there are 169 pieces of large-size equipment in east, west and north areas of 1000 KTA ethylene project site, all these equipment are more than 80 tons individually, and the total weight is about 35,000 tons. It is an unprecedented experience in ZRCC construction history, whether in terms of the lifting scale, lifting difficulty, or single lifting weight. Among these equipment, the two EO reactors are called as “the heaviest” in ZRCC ethylene project with the single equipment weights up to 1140 tons.

The lifting job of large-size equipment plays a significant role in the progress, investment and safety of ethylene project construction. Through nearly thirteen months of continuous working, the lifting job of large-size equipment achieved complete success, which creates conditions for accelerating the construction progress of ethylene project.
