Seriously implementing “Sinopec Corp Bans on Work Safety”
Recently, during the second plenary session of the 14th Conference of Workers and Staff, the delegations consciously deliberated and approved unanimously Sinopec Corp Bans on Work Safety (trial) , they believed it is a significant measure to carry out the principle of scientific outlook on development, stick to the principle of development safety and people first as well as strict corporate governance in order to reduce general accident rate and prevent and avoid extra serious accident occurrence, so they all agree to earnestly implement it.
Total ten bans are stipulated in Sinopec Corp Bans on Work Safety (trial)(“Bans”), for instance, forbid smoking in non-smoking areas and drinking on the job, violator(s) will be expelled from the company and severed labor relation with the company , wear safety belt while operating on high elevation, violator(s) will be expelled from the company and severed labor relation with the company, wear life vest while operating on water, violator(s) will be expelled from the company and severed labor relation with the company, forbid to drive vehicles without license or after drunk, violator(s) will be expelled from the company and severed labor relation with the company.
The company had printed out the brochures of Bans and handed them out to every employee for study beforehand.
Presently, each division and department is engaged with organizing employees to study and implement Bans in various and colorful manners aiming to make Bans deeply-rooted in each employee heart and implemented at daily work.
