On December 12^th, 2006, the newly-built hydrocrack unit was put into operation. Until now, the annual crude comprehensive processing capacity reached 20 million tons, which is the top one among domestic refineries.

In recent years, the company has been the largest domestic base for crude oil processing. In accordance with the latest statistics form OIL&GAS MAGAZINE in America, ZRCC ranks 18th among the world largest refineries and stands among the top ten Asia-Pacific refineries, a fact which made it the 1st refinery enterprise in mainland area edging into the world-class refiners category.
